How Quality Barnwood Trim and Casing Complements Your Paneling

Barnwood is the rage these days for log cabins and homes, but it’s becoming harder to find and more expensive. That’s why our faux barnwood trims and casings are becoming favorites in the log home industry. It’s made from select, high-quality pine that is free from defects such as loose knots, cracks, and warps.

You can find the sizes, shapes, colors, and profiles that are ideal for your residential or commercial building projects. Whether you are building a humble cottage, cabin, or mansion, barnwood trim and casing will provide the finishing interior touches to any room.

The walls in this room combine the beauty of the new with the grain patterns and color of old barnwood.

What is Barnwood Trim?

“Our faux barnwood trims and casings are becoming                                                 favorites in the log home industry.”

This terrific-looking product gives the reclaimed barnwood look without any smells, warped boards, bugs, mold, or toxins. Inquire about pre-finished trim and our specialists will work with you to find the right products.

How Is Barnwood Trim Used?

Barnwood trim is used to complement barnwood and other styles of paneling for:
·    Doors
·    Windows
·    Baseboards
·    Ceilings
·    Corners
·    Chair Railings

Its convenient 95” lengths make it easy to cut, install, and finish. Typical casings are ¾” thick and baseboards are 5/8” thick for just the right visual effect. Barnwood Round Over Casing is 2-3/4" wide and matching baseboard is 3-1/2" wide. 1x4 Barnwood S4S (can be used for casing) has square edges and is 3/4" thick and 3-1/2" wide. 1x5 Barnwood S4S (can be used for baseboard) has square edges and is 3/4" thick and 4-1/2" wide. If you prefer regular casing, we have that too!

Mix or Match Barnwood with Pine Paneling

The trim pictured here matches the wall paneling in a beautiful gray finish. However, you can mix and match the colors of your choice to create a different effect. Use gray, white, or red to advantage from room to room, in hallways, basements, or garages.
